Magpies donate to Bury Lodge Care Home

In December the children and families from Magpies Pre-school collected donations for Bury lodge care home in Gosport.

We were overwhelmed by the generosity of the contributions made by our families and friends, we were able to provide some lovely gifts and essentials for the residents and some treats for the care workers. A group of children delivered the hamper and distributed the gifts, the children enjoyed going on a bus with some of the Practitioners.

When the children had finished giving out the gifts they sang some Christmas songs for everyone to enjoy. The Magpies Children have been invited back to Bury Lodge at Easter time to see the Easter Bunny.

“I cannot express how lovely it was for our residents and staff to be visited by your children.  The residents really enjoyed seeing them and loved the gifts they brought.  It would be lovely to see you all again and would love to invite you all at Easter to come and see our Easter bunny.”
